All is now set for the official inauguration of Ubaha-Atta Parish in the Anglican Diocese of Ikeduru by the Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese, Rt Rev Emma Maduwike.
The event is slated for Sunday 13th May 2012 at theSt. John’sAnglican church Atta.
Parishioners in the proposed new parish (comprising St. John’s Anglican Church Atta, and her sister church station, All Saints Anglican Church Umuonocha are now in ecstatic mood in anticipation of the coming event.
The venue of the event,St. John’sAnglican Church Ubaha-Atta is now apbride to behold – with paintings, designs and decorations.
According to the chairman of the Inauguration Planning Committee, Barr. Sir H.N.G. Amadi, all necessary arrangements have been put in place to make the occasion colourful. He assured all invited guests of a rousing reception.
The Chairman of publicity Sub-Committees, Sir Ephraim Ujunawa was full of praises unto God for uniting the two sister Church Stations into one body in Christ. He said the present arrangement would spur the new parish to a greater work of evangelism and mission development.
