School cries out to ENTRACO over refuse Dump By Gid Ahanonu

The principal of Bishop Lasbery Girls’ Secondary School, Irete in Owerri West local government,ImoState, Mrs J.O. Anyiam, has cried out against a massive Imo State Rescue bin dumped at the entrance to her school.

Speaking to Christian Voice penultimate Wednesday in her school the principal said she had reported the matter severaltimes to ENTRACO boss who, she said, assured her that the bin would be relocated to its former position across the busy Owerri/Onitsha highway.

She regretted that the promise has not been kept resulting into health hazard to the staff and students of the institution as she alleged that members of the public who make use of the bin usually set fire on the garbage thus releasing offensive  and poisonous gas.

She also said that the location of the bin blocks the sight of motorists driving in and out of the school thus exposing them to occasional accidents.

Mrs. Anyiam made a passionate appeal to ENTRACO to re-locate the garbage bin for the security of the staff students and visitors to the school.
