The newly appointed Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Chinedu Offor has called on the management and staff of the Ministry and its parastatals to brace up to the challenges of their duties in order to achieve the set targets for the Ministry.
The United-States-trained media expert who vowed to bring his international experience to bear in repositioning the Information Ministry of the state, appealed to the staff to queue into the Rescue Agenda of Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha to be better positioned to propagate its programmes.
Mr. Offor described the Information and Strategy Ministry as the platform for dissemination of the Rescue Mission programmes and urged all to join hands to achieve the desired goal of the present administration.
He further pointed out that time was of the essence in the Rescue Mission and challenged the staff to be punctual, dedicated and proactive in the discharge of their duties.
In their respective response, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Goddy Dike and the Director of Administration and Finance, Mr. J.O. Korie on behalf of the staff, expressed warm welcome to the newly appointed Commissioner and assured him of the support of the staff.
