Nwachukwu who made this appeal while inaugurating the Community Development Council (CDC) of Ife and Owutu autonomous communities in Ezinihitte Mbaise enjoined office holders, especially politicians to endeavour to render selfless sacrifice for the interest of the people that got them elected for effective and efficient representation. He said that the high level of infrastructural decay  in various parts of the state since 12 years was as a result of lack of prudence in government expenditure, stressing that the state is currently moving towards self sustainability. Crediting the massive infrastructural development in the state to Governor Okorocha, he added that it is based on his determination to run a corruption free administration and his prudence with the state resources.

On the possibility of the Free Education at all levels in the state, Dr. Nwachukwu disclosed that the governor sacrificed his security votes to ensure that the children of the poor masses get free and quality education at nothing. Speaking on the essence of the community government, he emphasized that it is meant to unlock the agricultural potentials of the state and bring development at the people’s doorstep, while reiterating that in the next two years, Imo state will start exporting palm oil. The commissioner, however showed appreciation to the people for their large turnout during the inauguration ceremony, he also urged them for their unrelenting support on the rescue mission of the present administration in the state.
