The Bishop, Anglican Diocese of Ikeduru, the Rt Rev. Emma Maduwike and his wife Anuli, have returned from their four-week oversea trip with both national and international awards from different communities and organizations in the United States of America.
While in America, they interacted with Igbo nationalities especially sons and daughters of Imo State domiciled in the United States.
The high point of the international trip was the presentation of the Distinguished, and Excellence Service Award by the Mayor of Hawthni, Los Angelis, California. The Mayor ably represented by his Director of Special Duties Angle Reyes English said, “the entire people of Hawthni join the Igbo communities in Houston Texas to honour Bishop Emmanuel Maduwike of Ikeduru Diocese in Nigeria for excellence and distinguished service.”
Other organizations which bestowed Bishop Maduwike with service awards include; Ikeduru community in Houston Texas, Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Honesty and Intergrity Organization, Great Owerri Club, and Saint Augustine’s Old Boys Association (SAGSOBA) in Wesley.
Early in August, Bishop Emma Maduwike and his wife, Anuli were invited to the United States on a short vacation by an Ikeduru son domiciled in Houston Texas, Sir and Lady Emma Ezeji.
