Bishop Maduwike dedicates N15m projects at HTC Iho-Ikeduru …says the secret of prosperity is serving God and humanity with one’s resources From Nick Chibunna, Ikeduru

As part of his pre –Synod activities of the recently concluded Ikeduru Diocesan Synod,  the Bishop, Rt Rev. Emmanuel Maduwike, commissioned projects valued at about N13 million single-handedly built by three parishioners of the host church, Holy Trinity Church, Iho.

Among the projects dedicated by the prelate was an ultra-modern church secretariat built by some of the parishioners costing N6million. Another parishoner undertook the tiling of the entire Church, vestries and gallery at a cost of N4.5million while another spent N2.5million to renovate a parsonage.

Elated Bishop Maduwike posited while dedicating the projects, that the secret of prosperity is serving God and humanity with one’s resources.

He assured that God rewards those who serve Him, especially those that serve God, using what he has blessed them.

Meanwhile, the people of Iho Diocese Autonomous Community made a case for the immortalization of their late traditional ruler, Eze Onwnamaeegbu within the Holy Trinity Church complex arguing that the deceased contributed immensely to the growth of Anglican Church in the area during his life time.

In the request made to Bishop Maduwike when he paid a thank-you visit to the President-General of Iho Diocese Town Union, Mr Emmanuel Amadi, after the four-day Synod, the community also appealed to the church to  use its resources to assist the less-privileged in the society in the form of scholarship to indigent children of school age.

Responding, Bishop Maduike promised to look into their requests as he thanked the people of Iho Diocese for their hospitality which was abundantly  manifested during the Synod.
