St Mark’s Ejemekwuru ushers in 2013 with crusade

St Mark’s (Ang) Church, Ejemekuru in the Diocese on the Lake, has ushered in 2013 with a three-day crusade with the theme, “Iam whom Iam”.

The Archdeacon of Ejemekwuru Archdeaconry, Ven. Japhet Anumudu disclosed that it has been the practice of the church to start each new year with a three-day crusade.

Expressing joy at the massive turn-out of the faithful despite the festive period, the Archdeacon assured people of success in 2013 in all their fields of endeavour once they have faith in God and remain resolute in their positive aspirations.

Earlier in his sermon, Rev. Evangelist Nwaiwu of St. Paul’s (Ang) Chuch, Ihitte Aforukwu in Mbaise Diocese assured Christians that God has answered their prayer in 2013 as He has disarmed the devil and demolished its castles which constituted obstacles to the lives of His children in the past years.

The preacher posited that it was apt to begin the year with a crusade with its equally apt theme as God has not and cannot change.
