The Imo State Commissioner for Community Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Lady Ugochi Nnanna-Okoro, a stauch member of the powerful People’s Democratic Party (PDP) , who recently resigned from the party to join the All People’s Grand Alliance (APGA), has explained the reasons for quitting the party she joined many years ago.

Speaking at her decamping ceremony with her teeming supporters at the Dan. Anyian Stadium, Owerri, Barr. Lady Nnenna-Okoro explained that having served in the present government for the past seven months he had discovered that his aim of going into politics to touch the lives of the less-priviledged in the society tallied with that of Governor Okorocha.
