Owelle moves to ensure comfort for traders in Imo State By Chinasa Ogbonna

The Imo State Gov., Owelle Anayo Okorocha, has observed that many citizens and non-indigenes resident in the State are traders who spend most of the time each day in the markets and should be provided with necessary facilities for their comfort.

The governor made the submission recently while on an unscheduled tour of the Timber and Allied Industrial Regional Market, Naze.

He expressed satisfaction with the level of work done on the road construction to the market as he promised to embark on the construction of another access road to the market through Akachi Road and equally assured of the provision of electricity to the complex and other facilities not yet in place.

Governor Okorocha added that efforts would be intensified to bring other timber dealers, furniture makers and building material dealers in Owerri to the Naze market to further boost economic activities there.
