The new secretariat of the Anglican Diocese of Orlu tagged, ‘the 21st century state-of-art secretariat’ wholly built by Sir Chijioke and Lady Pauline Tasie was penultimate Saturday dedicated by the Anglican Bishop of Orlu, Most Rev. Benneth C. Okoro, PhD at the Cathedral Church of SS Peter and John the Divine complex, Nkwere, Imo State.
In his homily at a brief service at the Cathedral after the dedication ceremony, Archbishop Okoro described the project as wonderful and applauded the benefactors for using their God-given resources to erect the edifice to the glory of God.
Recalling that Sir John Anyahie had earlier single-handedly built the trillion naira Cathedral, he contended that God uses those He loves to fulfill His purposes adding that human beings are instruments in God’s hands.
He then urged those who made promises to God to fulfill them to attract His blessings.
In his testimony, Sir Tasie recalled that an unknown person repeatedly challenged him to execute the secretariat project single-handedly since those who could have assisted were not forthcoming.
According to him, he had assured the “divine messenger” that he would embark on the project within three years’ period.
Sir Tasie further testified that when they started the secretariat project that his private projects were not disturbed as a result of God’s blessings and interventions.
The donor then challenged other public-spirit persons to assist in furnishing the secretariat because, according to him, he “does not want to enjoy God’s blessings alone”
