CATOL Administrator admonishes criminals

Those who engage in armed robbery and other criminal acts have been advised to repent from such evil acts before they incur the wrath of God and end up worse off.

The Administrator of the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Owerri, Venerable Akajiaku Chukwuocha, gave this advice while responding to the several sympathy visits paid to him by members of CATOL and other well-wishers from far and near, for being a victim of recent armed robbery attack barely a few days after he and members of his household had moved into the Cathedral parsonage on transfer.

He noted that although the robbers had carted away some valuable items and undisclosed amount of cash from them, he was more concerned about having the culprits prayed for in order that they would not face self destruction and lose out in the end.

The Administrator expressed gratitude to the CATOL community for their solidarity and show of concern, and noted that the incident had become a challenge for the security of the Cathedral premises to be beefed up, to avoid a repeat in future.
