Nkwerre people visit Owelle By Chinasa Ogbonna

The Governor of Imo State, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha, has promised to give orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Umudi in Nkwerre Local Government a face lift.

Governor Okorocha who made the promise when Nkwerre stakeholders paid him a solidarity visit at the government house owerri.

He said that his administration will embark on more developmental projects that will transform Nkwerre into a mega city.

Owelle, who assured that his administration will build the on-going general hospitals to the standard of a specialist hospital as well as complete all the on-going road construction work in the area to attract investors to the area noted that Nkwerre has contributed a lot towards the development of the state and urged them to bury their differences and embrace peace to move the area forward.

In his speech, the chairman, Council of Traditional Rulers, Nkwerre Local Government, HRH Eze Ralph Anokwuru, commended the governor for all the monumental and developmental projects in the state and urged him not to relent.

Eze Anokwuru who said that Nkwerre people are with Owelle because he has performed above average and has not put Imo to shame pledged their total support to the present administration and thanked God for the governor’s victory at the supreme court recently.
