No lion went loose in Imo -Police

By Ifeoma Ofurum

In view of the prevailing security challenges in the country, the Imo State Police Command has warned members of the public to be security conscious in terms of threats of terrorism and communal clashes.

A release from the command in Owerri advised the people to always give information to the police on any suspicious moves around their vicinity, especially in public places such as schools, places of worship, motor parks and entertainment centre.

It warned churches to take pains to identify members of their congregation and those who mingle with them during assemblies, so as to know when strangers are among them.

While urging the people to go about their normal duties without panic, the release urged anyone who has information for the police to call 08034773600 or 08081574002.
