NAFET plans big for teachers

The Imo State Chapter of the National Association of Female Teachers (NAFET) has made an appeal for fund for the hosting of its inauguration and workshop slated for June 24 – 26,, 2014.

The appeal was contained in an address announcing the appointment of Lady Victoria Echerue as the Patron of the Association.

The address was presented to her by the co-ordinator of NAFET, Imo State Chapter, Mrs Happiness Uchechi.

NAFET is a non-political non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit making organization which set out to organize workshops, seminars and publication of journal.

He describes the new patron as highly disciplined, a woman with exemplary character, personal and academic discipline and shining organizer.

NAFET, the coordinator said “is facing numerous challenges that anchor on logistics and finance to execute the June 24 -26, Programme” for about 3,400 teachers.

Accepting the appointment, Lady V.N. Echerue praised the association for initiating people-oriented programmes for the benefit of not only the teachers, but also people of other professions.
