Ugochukwu Anyanele, the Presbyter who also described the Distinguished Senator representing Owerri Senatorial Zone in the Senate as the conscience of democracy and a woman of indomitable courage.

The man of God pointed out that Mrs. Anyanwu was detained for over 3 years by Military dictators because of her courage and belief in democracy and expressed satisfaction in her doggedness as a crusader of social justice and emancipation of down trodden masses.

He commended her for being outspoken in the Senate and more especially for her effective and qualitative representation of Owerri Senatorial Zone and Imo State at large.

The Archbishop gave his blessings to her governorship ambition insisting that virtuous women are more steadfast, humane and visionary in leadership than men.

Eke re-assured that the Award is to re-invigorate the Senator’s, dedication to the service of God and humanity..

The cleric advised her not to be discouraged by the challenges of life and that the grace of the good Lord she trustes will always see her through.
