The Anglican Diocese of Okigwe recently marked its fifth anniversary with a five-day mega crusade which took place at St. Andrew’s Church, Okwelle.
The Archbishop of Niger Delta Province and Bishop of Niger Delta North, Most Rev. I.C.O. Kattey, ministered at the crusade where many were said to have given their lives to Christ and received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
It also featured Engr. O.P. Nwachukwu, the Deputy National Coordinator of the Deliverance and Healing Unit (DHU) of St. Jude’s Military Church Port Harcourt, Rivers State, which jointly hosted the crusade with the Diocese.
The crusade, with the theme, “setting the captives free”, featured seminars and family liberations. According to Rev. Ephraim Oraguzie of the Diocese, many souls were delivered while many received spiritual empowerment to function in different capacities in the church.
He stated that about 150 persons were trained in deliverance and healing while families visited in Okigwe and Onuimo Local government areas of Imo State received salvation and were delivered from satanic bondage.
Rev. Oraguzie thanked the DHU coordinator, the clergy, evangelists and those who helped in making the event a success.
