APC not behind Boko Haram By Chinasa Ogbonna

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has passionately refuted the allegation by opponents that the All Progressive Congress (APC) is behind the activities of Boko Haram in Nigeria.
In a breakfast meeting recently with political appointees and APC stakeholders in the state, he debunked the allegation but rather posited that disunity among Nigerians was the major strength of Boko Haram in the country today.
Noting that Boko Harqam has been in existence before the formation of APC, the governor called on the members to discard the rumour and never allow such to distract them from their love and support for the party.
Urging the political appointees and party members to carry the grassroot along in the scheme of things, he told them that APC lost Ekiti State because the leaders there were not on the ground as he assured them, though, that APC would win all the elective positions as well as produce the next president in the forthcoming elections but added that the success and failure of the party depended on the members.
In his address, the chairman of the party in the state, Dr. Hillary Eke noted the governor’s passion for the party, assuring that the party members would ensure that the governor will not be disappointed in 2015.
