Ikeduru Diocesan Women’s Confab kicks-off on Oct 30th at Amaimo By Nick Chibunna

St. John’s Anglican Church Amaimo, venue of the Diocesan Women’s Conference of Ikeduru Diocese is agog with activities as the conference slated to commence from Thursday 30th of October, draws nearer.

According to the release from the Local Organising Committee, the high point of the event is the presentation and launching of the presidential address by the bishop’s wife, Mrs Anuli Maduwike (Nnedinma Ikeduru) on Saturday 1st of October, 2014, and the conferment of Conference Couple/Ada Zion/Associate Friends of women Organisations on Sunday, 2nd October.

Other activities include, expository Bible Study, prayer, praise and worship session, cutting of conference cake and others.

The event which has as its theme: “The love that brought us home” (Rom. 5:8) would also feature a keynote address that would be delivered by His Excellency, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha (KSC), Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives.

Dignitaries expected at the event include, top government officials, religious leaders, traditional title holders, captains of industry, politicians and others.
