Bank donates security vans to Imo govt

A commercial bank last week made a donation of 10 Toyata Hilux vans to the Imo State government in recognition of its efforts to improve security in the State.

Making the donation on behalf of the bank, the Owerri Branch Manager, Dr Austin Njoku said the bank was motivated to support the state government because of the governor’s dogged fight to keep Imo developed.

He equally noted the improved security in the State since the advent of the administration, commending also the strides in infrastructure development, education, health and youth development.

Receiving the donations on behalf of Governor Okorocha, the Chief of Staff, Chief Uche Nwosu, commended the bank for their support to the government as well as their social services to the State and promised that the vehicles would be used for the purposes they were donated.

He assured Imo citizens and corporate organizations in the state of government’s readiness to provide adequate security and conducive environment for business to thrive in the state.
