By Nick Chibunna

Prominent politician, business mogul and committed Anglican faithful, Engr. Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, was in a high spiritual mood recently as he recounted Gods’ abundant blessings and love for him, urging all Christians to accept Jesus Christ as author and finisher of their fate.

The venue was the Cathedral Church of St. Mathew, Atta Ikeduru local government Imo State and the occasion was the finale of the 6th anniversary celebration of the diocese during which Chief Iwuanyanwu accepted to complete the construction of the multi-billion naira Cathedral building project.

He disclosed that God has made him first in almost every aspect of human endeavour hence, he said, he has dedicated the rest of his life to the service of God and humanity.

Reeling out impressive examples, the PDP Board of Trustees member, said that as a sprinter in sports, he came first; in the Engineering profession he is not lacking, in politics he is a leader; he has received many church awards while in Nigeria, he has received one of the highest national merit awards.

Chief Iwuanyanwu posited that it was unfair to leave all his worldly possessions and investments to his children alone and that God’s matchless grace upon him has spurred him to help others and invest in the church of God, adding that “we bring nothing into the world and it is certain we go with anything out of it”

He then implored the congregation to pray for him so that the building would be completed in three years.

Sir Iwuanyanwu made the important revelation that his autobiography entitled; “My Journey through faith” will be launched soon.
