Brigade members charged to uphold integrity

Members of the Boys Brigade, Orlu Battalion Council, have been advised to make integrity  their watch word as Christians.
The Vicar of Ubulu Parish and acting Administrator of Ubulu Archdeaconry in the Anglican Diocese of Oru, Rev. Benedict Nlemchukwu, gave the advice at the thanksgiving service to mark the 2015 Boys and Girls Brigade Founders Day at St. Paul’s (Ang) Church, Achara, Umuaka, in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State.
Preaching on the theme “The place of Integrity in God’s House (Gen. 39:5-10) he said that the Biblical Joseph  had integrity and was obedient.
He described integrity as the state of moral control and stability and cautioned Christians to embrace it to avoid regrets.
Also speaking, the Archdeacon, of Njaba-South Archdeaconry Ven Maxwell Mgbemere, PhD, advised the youths to make evangelism and soul winning their priorities.
Ven Mgbemere, the Archdeacon Theologian and the Clerical Synod Secretary (CSS) of the Orlu Diocese praised the Brigade Chaplain in the Diocese, Rev Uche Onwuzuruike for efforts in sustaining the Brigade.
Speaking to Christian Voice the Chaplain Rev. Onwuzuruike, the Chairman Orlu Battalion Council, Mr. Ikenna Azuonwu and others thanked God for leading the organization thus far.
