I have not forgotten the man who spoke at his daughter’s wedding recently. Just before the joining, he addressed the bridegroom with all the guests as his witness. He traced how he had a string of boys and then prayed for a girl and God answered him and gave him a girl. He told of how he struggled and prayed all along to bring up the girl to be a lady today that a man wants to take home to be his wife. He finally told his son in law to be: “See me and God have worked very hard to bring up this our daughter to be the lady she is standing here. I am therefore warning you, we worked hard for her. Don’t mess up. Don’t mess her up. We will not take it kindly. I share his sentiments and true talk. How about you?
