Okigwe Diocesan women’s conference kicks off May 12, at St. Barnabas Cathedral

The 6th Diocesan Women’s Guild Conference of the Anglican Diocese of Okigwe in Imo State will kick off next Thursday, May 12th to Sunday, May 15th, 2016 at Cathedral Church of St. Barnabas, Okigwe.
The four-day event with the theme; “Running to finish strong and win the crown” (1 Cor. 9:24-27) will be under the chairmanship of Arch. Uche Nwosu.
Among the highlights of the conference would be the presentation of the presidential address on Saturday, May 16, 2016, by the President, Women’s Organisation, Diocese of Okigwe, Lady Chinyere C. Osuegbu as well as the launching of the presidential address and magazine.
Other highlights would be Bible quiz competition, talks, reading of the reports, exposition of the theme, health talk, keynote address and crusade.
But the conference would be rounded off on Sunday, May 15th, 2016 with a thanksgiving service, cutting of cake and award of Nneoma title.
