The 2nd Session of the 11th Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Orlu kicked off yesterday at St Andrew’s (Ang) Church, Orsuihiteukwa, headquarters of Orsu-Ihiteukwa Archdeaconry, in Orlu LGA, Imo State.
According to a release from the office of the Archbishop/Bishop of Orlu Diocese, Most Rev. Bennett C.I. Okoro, PhD, the theme of the synod is “Heavenly Investment, a secure Christian Heritage” (Luke 12:29-34).
The Synod, today, features a N300 million diocesan development fund launch and presentation of awards of Excellence, Nehemiah of Our Time and synod father and mother of the year to deserving eminent persons.
