Be patient with Buhari – Owelle tells Nigerians

By Chinasa Ogbonna

The Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okrocha, has said that the present hardship which Nigerians are experiencing was only a process of laying the foundation for a better Nigeria.
He, therefore, appealed to Nigerians to be patient with President Muhammadu Buhari who is poised to take Nigeria to the promised land.
In his message at a church service in the Victory Chapel, Government House, Owerri, to mark the last Democracy Day, the governor argued that the problems Nigeria is passing through at the moment were what the great nations had to experience before they got it right.
He described democracy day as a day to reflect on how Nigeria became a democratic nation and for leaders to give account of what they have done with the mandate the people gave them.
On his five years in office, Governor Okorocha said they have been fruitful, blessed with the best team which works as a family to achieve success for the state.
He swore to change the face of Owerri ,the Imo State capital, promising that his administration will complete ongoing projects, continue with free  education, create more jobs and to complete the construction of rural roads.
