AAMA conference ends today with thanksgiving

The Third combined conference of All Anglican Men Association (AAMA) and Anglican Christian Fathers’ Fellowship (ACFF) of the Diocese of Owerri comes to a close today with a thanksgiving service at the venue, Holy Trinity (Ang) Church, Obazu, Mbieri.
The Conference with the theme; “Where are the men? A  call on men to respond in a manly, but Biblical Christian manner to the religious, economic moral and social challenges of our time.” (Psalm 11:3)was  presided over by the Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha, PhD, who delivered his presidential address yesterday, Saturday, July 2, 2016.
A renowned professor and highly-rated Christian teacher, Prof. Lazarus Tekdek was the guest speaker at the conference while Mr Chukwuma Uchegbu of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) lectured on Economics of the Day.
Other highlights of the conference were Bible study, seminars and open forum designed to address men’s family problems, using life story cases.
Over 100 clergymen and 1,000 lay people attended the event.
