God does not forsake those who invest in His vineyard – Bishop Okorocha tells people of God as he dedicates new projects in Christ Church Owerri

The Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha PhD, on Tuesday, paid a pastoral visit to Christ’s Anglican Church, Owerri, where he dedicated and commissioned some projects.
The projects were the Resurrection House, a two-storey block containing classrooms, an e-library and staff offices for the Christ the King International Academy  and a newly constructed gate named the Gate of Faith.
The prelate also laid a foundation for another two-storey building, the  House of faith.
The Bishop commended Sir Barr. Ndukwe Nnawuchi who provided computer sets for the library in memory of his late wife, Lady Juliet Nnawuchi (nee Emeruwaonu).
He noted that God does not forsake those who invest in His vineyard.
Addressing the congregation, he advised them to allow Jesus Christ to control their lives, adding that where Jesus lives, no fetish, occultic or immoral activities thrive.
He urged the students to take their studies seriously, reading their bible and listening to the word of God.
The Bishop explained the names given to the projects saying that they were all associated to Christ’s activities on earth. He also commended the Vicar, Ven Zion Ngoka, and the parishioners.
