Thumbs up for Bishop, Dep. Gov, others

The Archdeacon, Obazu Archdeaconry and Vicar of Holy Trinity Church (HTC) Obazu Mbieri, Ven. Chukwuma Akakuru, has commended the Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril Okorocha PhD, his wife, Dr Mrs Eunice Okorocha and the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, for their efforts in seeing to the success of the just- concluded All Anglican Men’s Association (AAMA) Conference at HTC Obazu.
In an interview with Christian Voice,  Ven. Akakuru thanked them for their support in cash and in kind.
He disclosed that Deputy Gov. Prince Eze Madumere, who is an Anglican and an indigene of Mbieri, funded a remedial work on the Nkwo Orji -Obazu-Orie Mbieri Road which was in a terrible state to enable delegates have access to the venue.
The Vicar also thanked all Obazu sons and daughters who made immense contributions towards the success of the conference and prayed God to continue to bless them.
While praising the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and the old Obazu Archdeaconry for a job well done, he expressed happiness that in spite of the bad road, the delegates and all the priests graced the occasion.
