Owerri Diocesan All Women Conference ends today with thanksgiving

The 2016 conference of the Owerri Diocesan Women’s Guild ends today with a thanksgiving service at St. Mark’s (Ang) Church, Amakohia, venue of the conference.
The four-day event which began Thursday, Nov. 10, had as its theme, “The Christian Family” (Gen 18:19; Deut. 6:6-8; Eph. 6:1-4) Godly Parents Raising  Godly Children: (Talking, Teaching and Training the next Generation for God).
It featured a scholarly presidential address delivered yesterday by the President of the Women’s Ministries and wife of the Bishop of Owerri, Dr. (Mrs.) Eunice Okorocha.
The ministries’ calendar and magazine were also launched yesterday.
Today, at the thanksgiving service, deserving members of the diocese will be decorated as Conference Mothers while there will also be the cutting of the conference cake.
Participants hailed presentations at the event packaged by the Conference Planning Committee headed by Mrs. Harriet Oguike (VP).
