Bishop dedicates land for Christ the Good Shepherd Centre annex

By Abraham Eze-David

The Anglican Diocese of Owerri recorded another landmark, Tuesday, when the Bishop, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha, PhD, dedicated a piece of land meant for the extension of Christ the Good Shepherd Women Ministries Centre at Uzii Mission Compound, Mbaise Road, Owerri.
Performing the dedication, Bishop Okorocha praised the Women Ministries, headed by his wife, Dr (Mrs) Eunice Okorocha, (Mama Owerre) for their vision.
He, however, reminded Christians that because of their belief in Jesus Christ, their site remains in heaven and “nobody can take it away from them.”
“Jesus is the light, Christians, let our light shine so bright that the world can see and give glory to God the father”, he urged Christians.
According to him, the turning of the  sod which he was performing for the extension of the centre was in accordance with the scriptures as recorded in Psalm 24.
While handling over the piece of land to the women, Bishop Okorocha said that the building design would soon be completed for the building to start.
