Newly completed projects commissioned at Christ (Ang.) Church Owerri

Some structures and projects completed at Christ’s Anglican church Owerri, were last week dedicated and commissioned by the Bishop of Owerri, Rt Rev. Cyril Okorocha, PhD.
The projects included a two-storey building for Christ the King International School, Owerri which he named “Rapture Block” eight lock-up shops he named, Ngozi Chukwu stores as well as the re-modeled priest’s residence quarters and the foundation-stone-laying of the Divine Love centre Hall extension”.
In his charge, Bishop Okorocha charged members of the congregation of Christ’s Church and the traders who were present at the occasion to have firm belief in God and not to backslide despite the hardships they may be passing trough at the moment.
He assured that God’s blessing can come to any one wherever he stays to do any business, not necessarily in the church as he urged them to forgive one another to enjoy God’s abundant blessings.
In his remarks, the Vicar of Christ Church, Owerri, Ven Zion Ngoka stated that the infrastructure at Christ’s Church complex was the product of fruitful evangelism adding that the lock-up stores were for the economic benefits of the church and congregation.
Speaking on behalf of the students, an SS3 student of the School Master Joshua Chdindu thanked the Bishop and the school’s management for erecting new school blocks for them and advised the students to make good use of the structures for them to last.
