Prof claims encounter with God

By Gid Ahanonu

An Owerri-based legal practitioner, Prof. (Barr.) Jude O. L. Ezeala, who claimed he saw God, shook hands with Jesus Christ and received a message from the Blessed Virgin Mary in his vision, has recommended to Christians to adopt the behavoural attitude of children in order to inherit the kingdom of God.
Delivering a lecture in Owerri recently, Prof. Ezeala listed some of the attributes of children to include innocence, holiness, meekness, reflection of the Angels on earth, among others, urging Christians to strive to be like them.
In the lecture with the theme; “The day I saw God, shook hands with Jesus Christ ad received a message from Virgin Mary”, the lecturer argued that his vision was the gift of the Holy Spirit, adding that God reveals himself to whosoever He wants.
Prof. Ezeala also contended that God appears to human beings in three forms, including human form, Angelic form and nonhuman form, pointing out that any form applied by God depends on ts function through revelation, vision and dream.
He, however, lamented that some Christians regarded his claims as a myth, making him a candidate for spiritual deliverance.
