I’m still in PDP – Abia Gov.

Claims by Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha that three governors in the South East have contacted him to join the APC have been faulted by the Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
Ikpeazu said he remains a loyal and committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, the governor urged his loyalists, associates and all Abians to disregard the rumour that he was contemplating leaving the PDP for the APC.
The CPS said the governor is not currently in the mood for party politics, adding that he is in the good governance mood with focus on delivering massive dividends of democracy to the Abia electorate that voted enmasse for him in 2015 to become the fourth democratically elected governor of the state on the platform of the PDP.
It would be recalled that Governor Okorocha at APC Stakeholders meeting in Owerri said three governors in the South East have reached out to him on their plans to join the APC.
