Finishing touches on CATOL in progress

Great progress has been made towards the completion of work in the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Owerri, which will be dedicated by the Primate, His Grace, Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) on Saturday  May 6, 2017.
The Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha Ph.D, who took the members of the Dedication Planning Committee round the Cathedral on an inspection visit, expressed satisfaction with the speed at which work was progressively going on at the Cathedral, and the response so far made by some of the Church groups and faithful in the Diocese, to ensure that every aspect of work needed to be done before the dedication date is completed.
He used the occasion to call on others who have not yet made any contributions whatsoever, towards the completion of work in the Cathedral, to please get involved, so as not to miss out from God’s blessings which, he said, come in multiples to those who serve Him in truth and spirit and with their wealth, especially if they do not do so grudgingly, and without expecting, in advance, what they would get by so doing.  The Prelate, who felt highly elated at the turn-out of the members of the Dedication Planning Committee, at its meeting held last Tuesday, encouraged the Central Committee, chaired by the Registrar/Clerk of the Anglican Diocese of Owerri, Sir Ndukwe Nnawuchi, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and reminded them that, only the best is good for our God, and that in the Day of God’s power, His people would be willing to serve Him as in this auspicious case.
