Bravo, our visionary Bishop

Today’s event in the Anglican Diocese of  Owerri calls for immense gratitude to the Almighty God.  That the lofty dreams of the diocese in 1979 when former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Donald Cogan, laid the foundation of the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL), culminated into its dedication today by the Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, the Most Revd Nicholas D. Okoh is significant in the spiritual lives of the faithful in the diocese and beyond.
It also speaks volumes of CATOL that the Primate considered it worthy as venue for the consecration of four bishops in the Anglican Communion.
We are happy to be associated with our visionary, dynamic, resourceful and philanthropic leader and father in the Lord Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha PhD and his amiable wife, Dr Mrs. Eunice Okorocha who God used to bring the dream to reality.
The completion of CATOL is a feat which only a courageous, honest and transparent spiritual leader can achieve.
By that feat, Bishop Okorocha and his wife, Dr (Mrs.) Eunice Okorocha, have left their footprints in the sands of time.  Indeed his spiritual exploits in Owerri Diocesan will remain indelible.
We salute you, our beloved Bishop and your wife and wish you more successes in the Lord’s vine yard.
We also wish that God’s blessings shall come upon those who supported the Diocese in the project.
To the four bishops who would be consecrated tomorrow, we say welcome to the fold of the Right Reverends.  May God guide you all as you proceed to a higher level in His service.
