Owerri Diocesan Prayer Conference kicks off Thursday

The Owerri Diocesan Prayer Conference kicks off on Thursday, June 8 at the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Owerri, Imo State.
The annual event will discuss the following topics, “Watch and Pray” / “Christ’s Sovereign Intervention for the Healing of the People” (Titus 2:1-4) on Thursday and Friday June 9 at 2p.m and “Serving God or Money” on Saturday June 10, at 9a.m.  It will feature the Anglican Bishop of Nsukka, His Lordship the Rt. Rev. Aloysius E. Egbo JP, as the Theme Expositor.
A release jointly signed by the Diocesan Press Officer, Sir Emma C. Onumah, the lay synod secretary  Lady Kalaya Opara and Assistant Clerical Synod Secretary, Rev. Canon Echi Nwogu, stated that the host Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha PhD, had invited all Christians to the event.
During the conference, according to the release, the host bishop will hold special consultations with all PCC and all Archdeaconry Board members in the Owerri Diocese, it added that attendance is mandatory.
