Foundation holds medical outreach in Obazu Mbieri

The Comfort Iwueke Foundation has performed free medical outreach for the people of Obazu Mbieri, in  Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
The facilitator of the programme, Mr. Chigozie Iwueke, said that the quarterly programme, which was held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Obazu Mbieri, was organized to provide succor to the people, especially the down trodden in the community.
At the outreach, health apparatuses, drugs and food items were distributed while medical tests to determine blood sugar level, high blood pressure and weight were performed on the more than 150 persons, that attended.
Chief Lawson Iwueke, a member of the Board of Trustee of the Foundation, said that the team consisted of medical experts.
The CEO of the foundation, Lady Ebre Iwueke, called on well-meaning individuals in the society to partner with the foundation to touch people’s lives as the nation is undergoing economic recession.
Present at the programme were the host Vicar, Ven. Chukwuma Akakuru, Rev. Nwakwe, Rev. Nlemchukwu, Dr Sir Obinna Iwueke, a consultant, the Secrtary of the foundation, Mr. Kingsley Ibekwe, among others.
