Amaigbo Health College holds 15th matriculation

The Imo State College of Health and Management Sciences, Amaigbo, held its 15th matriculation recently at its Matriculation Arena.
Addressing the matriculating students, the Acting Provost, Dr. Canice Chima Duru, said that their presence in the school was an indication that they were determined to become productive citizens in future.
He promised that the college would fulfill its goal of training them to achieve that ambition and so make positive impact on the society.
Duru urged them to shun all forms of social vices such as cultism, indecent dressing, examination malpractices and thuggery, adding that they should embrace hardwork, honesty, punctuality and a sense of morality.
The provost commended parents for the support they give to their children and wards despite the hardship in the country.
He listed the college’s challenges to include bad access road, severe shortage of structures for classroom and offices, erosion and shortage of staff.
The provost, however, said that the institution was in good relationship with professional regulatory bodies.
