Coach Emetole laid to rest

The former Heartland fc, El-Kanemi Warriors and Rangers International coach Kelechi Emetole who passed away on the early hours of Wednesday, 17th of June 2017 in India has been laid to rest at his home town Amiyi Obilohia Isuikwuato LGA, Abia State on Wednesday,  August 16.
Emetole, 66years was diagnosed with cancer of the throat and was receiving treatment in India.He was also battling with heart related diseases after being diagnosed in India before his treatment began. But sadly, he gave up the ghost after loosing the fight in a bid to recover.
Kelechi Emetole became a legend in the round leather object by playing for the then Green Eagles of Nigeria and coached the then Spartans of Owerri. He also coached Rangers International of Enugu, El-kanemi Warriors and Heartland fc of Owerri.
He will be well remembered for his efforts and contribution he made in the football house in Nigeria and also his achievements he made to the growth and development of football in Nigeria.
The funeral service which was well attended by who is who in the state, Nigeria and across.
May his soul rest in the bosom of the Lord Almighty. We, the Imolites, Nigerians, family and friends will miss you
