Party stalwarts plan big for Njaba PDP

Following the last weekend successful conduct of non-elective congress by the national leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja, Mr. Charles Abia and Hon. Agwubuo Obodoshaa have expressed their willingness to re-position the political party in Njaba Council area of Imo State.
Abia and Obodoshaa who are political stalwart and the Chairman of the party in the council area, respectively, gave the assurance in Umuaka shortly after they were received home by the party leaders and members after their journey to Abuja as the Council area’s delegates to the congress.
The duo who arrived Imo State on Tuesday were received by the party faithful at the boundary between Orodo and  Umuaka with seven guns salute and  from there, they defied the heavy rainfall as they happily marched and song along the ever busy Orlu-Owerri express road.
The crowd which include the party local government and ward executives used their motorcycles and motorcades acrobatically to display their happiness for the rectification of their leadership of the party within the council area.
In his speech, youthful Abia expressed surprised over the heroic reception and assured them of his commitment in ensuring that the party in the next political dispensation regained its lost glory and canvassed the need for reconciliation and accommodation.
Obodoshaa chairman of the party in the council area, revealed the new policy thrust of the party that anchors on reconciliation and giving power back to the people.
He applauded Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and Mr. Charles Abia for their doggedness and hospitality and prayed God that their labour of love will never be in vain.
