A monthly power and deliverance programme of the Anglican Diocese of Ikeduru, “Hour of Glory”, which takes place on first Wednesdays of the month has continued to attract people from all walks of life, who now see the monthly programme as an answer to both their physical and spiritual needs.
Christian Voice reporter who visited St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Akabo, in the Ikeduru Council Area of Imo state, venue of the prorgamme, since it began in 2015, saw many Christian faithful dancing and glorifying God.
The over 2000 capacity church building was filled up as God’s servant, The Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Chigozie Maduwike, JP, Bishop of the Diocese ministered with power and anointing, with attendant miracle explosion.
Bishop Maduwike who enjoined the people of God to always have faith in God, said that weeping may tarry with the night, but joy comes in the morning.
Expounding on the theme, “God’s love upon His children”(Jn.11:27b), the prelate said that no one knows God better than Christ, and no one knows Christ better than God, hence the two work together to bring salvation to human race.
According to Bishop Maduwike, no one can become a child of God without first knowing Christ, adding that to know Christ is to become a true child of God.
He lamented that the present generation of Christians seek so much after miracles, instead of looking unto God who is able to solve all their problems.
He called on Christians to rise up to the occasion and put on the whole armour of God in order to stand the whiles of the devil.
The prelate said that the day is evil with its attendant crises and confusion which often threatens the lives of the children of God, adding that to overcome, one must remain, believe and do the will of God always. He said that every child of God is a unique being hence they are glory carriers.
The monthly programme which has now gone global through the “Anglican Cable Network” featured among others, song ministration, praise and worship, warfare prayers, thought-provoking, and life changing testimonies and others.
During ministration, many were heard crying while receiving instant healing and deliverance, others openly confessed their activities in the occult and spirit world, while still many received various portions of spiritual gifts.
Those who spoke to Christian voice after the programme expressed their profound gratitude to God for using His servant, Bishop Maduwike to effect such great deliverance.
