Christians asked to anchor hope in God – Mrs. Anuli Maduwike tells them as Ikeduru Mothers Union Conference ends today with thanksgiving

The 4th Diocesan Mothers Union Conference of the Anglican Diocese of Ikeduru ends today with a call on the people of God to always anchor their hope and aspirations in God who is able to deliver in a time like this.
The event which kicked off last Thursday at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Amii Ukwu, Akabo, in the Ikeduru L.G.A of Imo State featured a wide range of activities, including, bible exposition, reports from Archdeaconries, presentation of presidential address by the president of the women’s Organization, Mrs Anuli Maduwike, recognition of those who have made impact in the propagation of the gospel, especially women’s ministry, the cutting of the conference cake and others.
The 2017 Mothers Union Conference which has, “Looking Unto Heaven in a moment like this” (Ps. 121) as its theme attracted dignitaries from within and outside the Diocese, including the Bishop Rt Rev. Emmanuel Chigozie Maduwike, JP, top government functionaries and traditional rulers and other dignitaries.
In her presidential address last Saturday, the Bishop’s wife and president of the mothers union and guild, Mrs. Anuli Maduwike, enjoined, people of God to always have faith in God as the final Arbitar in our situation.
