Ahiazu TC urged to work as family

Ahiazu Mbaise LGA Transition Committee members have been charged to work assiduously as a team for smooth realization of set targets.
The LGA Transition Committee Chairman, Sir. Edmund Enwereji gave the charge while swearing-in his deputy and secretary, Comrade Franklyn Madu and Chief (Mrs.) Grace Ugoh, respectively in his office at the local government Headquarters,  Afor Oru.
He reminded them that they were chosen based on credible track records and urged them to shun acts that could portray them in bad light or debilitate the progress of the committee.
Sir. Enwereji charged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the job and contribute meaningfully for a positive value change.
The LG boss remarked that the slection of the committee by the Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was divine and beckoned them to project the policies and programme of the state government positively and ensure equitable distribution of democratic largesse.
He patted the LGA Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) Bar. Emeka Oduah  on the back for his transparent and accountable hand over, guarantying that they would work like brothers.
Administering the oath of office and allegiance earlier, the LGA DAGS, Bar. Oduah congratulated the chairman and members for their appointments and assured to give them maximum co-operation.
Responding, the Deputy Chairman, Comrade Franklyn Madu expressed profound gratitude to the state governor for appointing them and promised neither to let him down nor disappoint the people for whom they were chosen.
In her vote of thanks, the Secretary, Chief (Mrs.) Ugoh who gave the governor kudos for his ingenuity in the composition of the committee which she described as a team of three compatible wise men expressed their preparedness to work hand in glove with the chairman for rapid advancement of the locale.
She solicited unrelenting co-operation of the DAGS  to the cornmittee while pledging their loyalty to TC Chairman and the state government, assuring untainted assistances in such a manner that at the end of their administration, all would be happy for it.
