Charly Boy plans good governance lecture in Imo State

Ahead of the 2019 general elections,  a notable activist and    National leader of “Our Mumudondo Movement” Mr Charles Oputa, will deliver a lecture aimed at educating and sensitizing the people on the importance of good governance.
The lecture which will be delivered at a Good Governance Summit  organized by the Imo State chapter of Our Mumudondo movement, will also focus on the need to imbibe and nurture it as a culture.
In a  press statement issued in Owerri and signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the movement, Comrade Nathan Anaele, the summit is intended to harvest opinions from all segments of the society, feature paper presentations by civil society groups, leadership experts, as well as attract leadership-oriented individuals, groups and professional bodies.
The programme which is expected to have as its main feature, a “wake up charge” on the electorate by the convener of OurMumudondo Movement, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa aka Charly Boy is aimed at ensuring that the electorate make informed  choices in the coming primary elections of political parties and the 2019 general elections.
According to the statement, the summit is expected to generate workable template for eradicating poverty and hardship as well as set the parameters that will ultimately determine the favourable outcome of the next electoral process in Imo State in particular and Nigeria in general.
“OurMumudondo Movement will also use the opportunity of the proposed summit to honour some prominent and notable lawyers in recognition of their valiant defence of vulnerable persons in our society by offering “Pro Bono Services”.
Those to be so honoured include a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who is also a University don and former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, in Imo State, Prof. Francis Dike and Human Rights Lawyer, Barr. Uche Wisdom Durueke along with three others, to be
