CATOL AGOG … As Owerri Knights end 2018 Chapter meeting with thanksgiving today

Knights and ladies in the Anglican Diocese of Owerri will today round off their 2018 Annual Council Meeting (AMC) with a thanksgiving service at the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Owerri.
The theme of this year’s Chapter Meeting is “Watch and Pray”.
CATOL wore a colourful look as the Chapter meeting began on Friday with registration of members, followed by a Holy Communion service and a keynote lecture by Ven. Zion Ngoka, the Vicar of Christ’s Church Owerri and Archdeacon of the Christ’s Church Archdeaconry.
A consultant physician, Dr. Jide Egwim, also delivered a lecture at the meeting.
Today’s events also feature the trooping of colours by the knights during which the Bishop of the Diocese, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha PhD, will take the salute and inspect a guard of honour mounted by the Knights.
Yesterday, there was the Presidential report/address as well as Bible study and Holy Communion.
The meeting witnessed a large turnout of knights in the Diocese, many of who expressed happiness at the proceedings, thanking Bishop Okorocha and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Eunice Okorocha, for their care, love and support to the council.
President of the Council, Sir Gab Ike Oduah, described the event as a special meeting in the year and prayed for journey mercies for members in attendance.
