Four new Canons for Okigwe Diocese

It was a day of joy at Cathedral Church of St. Barnabas, Okigwe Diocese as the Bishop of Okigwe Anglican Diocese, Rt. Rev. Edward C.D. Osuegbu Ph.D, JP, installed four new Canons.
They are Rev. Canon Godson Mbaike, Rev. Canon Nnadozie Jonas, Rev. Canon David Opurum and Rev. Canon Bernard Ebisike.
In his sermon, at the special service Rev. Canon Stanley Ezeji (JP), urged the new Canons and the Christian faithful to remain in Christ so as to bear much fruit.
He took his text from John 15:5-6 and stressed that for one to bear much fruit, ‘we need to remain in Christ, for without Christ, no one can bear fruit’.
In his Episcopal remarks, the presiding Bishop and Bishop Diocese of Okigwe, Rt. Rev. Edward Osuegbu Ph.D, JP, reminded the new Canons of the need to always maintain the qualities of which their new status demands.
