Satanic dancing in churches must stop – Prelate

Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Amichi, Rt. Rev. Ephraim Ikeakor, has expressed worry at the pervading confusion in the present generation with regard to worship.
Bishop Ikeakor described the generation as “a dancing generation” and condemned the “emotional Christianity and satanic dancing which he said is now  in vogue.
The prelate, who spoke at a weeklong annual programme, “Way of the Cross”, of the Diocese of Abuja held at the Cathedral Church of the Advent Life Camp Abuja, said that the generation is so confused that terrible idolatry and other nasty things are  contaminating the church while ‘captives’ use music to drive God away from the church.
“Things have terribly turned upside down in the name of prosperity message and digitization,” he said.
The Bishop of Amichi in Anambra State said that the devil is taking the Bible away from the church, thereby turning Christians into non-entities and rendering them incapacitated.
According to him, people without Christ are like stray dogs with shameless, quarrelsome attitudes, affirming also that life without Christ is a life of indescribable captivity where sin graduates to arrogance, anger, shameless sexual immorality and pathological lying.
He, therefore, urged Christians to have spiritual intimacy and connectivity with God, adding that this is the easiest key to prosperity.
He said that God is not happy to see sinners who refuse to repent, and that Jesus is waiting to receive the lost ones before they become wretched.
