Bishop Okorocha donates N.1m to child with kidney tumor

The Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha, PhD has called on Nigerians, especially Christians, to help one another especially those in desperate need.
Bishop Okorocha made this call while making a donation of (N100,000) to little Miss Blessing Nzuriuke who was recently diagnosed with kidney tumor.
Miss Blessing Nzurike is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chidiebere Nzuriuke  of Umejechi, Nekede in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.
Bishop Okorocha, who made the donation at the Chapel of Holy Spirit, Bishops court,  Egbu, during the 5th Enthronement anniversary of Bishop Geoffrey Okorafor and 75th birthday celebration of Bishop Emmanuel Iheagwam also prayed for the quick recovery of the child.
He also gave some useful tips on how to go about the treatment to make it easier and safer.
Bishop Okorocha also appealed to other well-meaning individuals to assist the child.
According to the mother of the child, Mrs. Comfort Nzuruike, her daughter, Blessing was first diagnosed with kidney tumor at Vedan, a private hospital in Owerri.
It was later confirmed by the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owerri.
The total cost of the hospital bill is estimated at about N400,000 Mrs. Nzuiwike said that she and her husband doesn’t have the money and that necessitated the appeal for assistance.
She thanked Bishop Okorocha for the kind gesture.
