Media Elders’ Forum mourns Chiroma

The Media Elders’ Forum has described the late Malam Adamu Chiroma as a versatile media guru.
In a press released signed by the group’s National Coordinator, Mazi Nnamdi Nwigwe, the group stated that Chiroma, who was a governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), made his mark beyond the newspaper editorial room.
“Adamu  was a technocrat as well as a seasoned politician.  We of the media Elders’ Forum mourn a worthy colleague and commiserate with the bereaved family”, the statement read.
Chiroma, who died on July 5, this years, at an Abuja hospital, was born on November 20, 1934 at Pokistum, Yobe State.
He attended the famous Barewa College. He has since been buried.
