Court stops swearing-in of new Deputy Gov

The Owell Rochas Okorocha-led Imo Government has assured the people that he would abide by the court injunction restraining it from swearing-in Mr. Callistus Okenze as the new Imo Deputy Governor.
As a result, the Deputy Governor designate, Mr. Callistus Okenze could not be sworn-in as scheduled.
However, he said that his government would do everything without the ambit of law to vacate the order.
It must, however, be recalled that last Tuesday an Owerri High Court presided over by Justice Ben Iheka granted an interim order restraining the state Chief Judge, Justice Pascal Nnadi, from swearing-in Mr. Callistus Ekenze as a substantive Deputy Governor.
